The call for ‘religious freedom’ isn’t really about churches being free, it’s about allowing them to discriminate based on innate qualities of others unchallenged. The time for that type of exemption should come to an end. Religious bodies have shown contempt for the well-being of others and use legal discrimination unjustly.
